New career coaches and veterans in the field know: understanding how to effectively interpret career assessment results is essential to effective counseling. A solid background in the assessments you use allows you to guide meaningful conversations with clients and apply the best coaching practices that can make all the difference in their careers.
That’s why we created Coaching With CareerLeader, a new online video series designed to help coaches build confidence and expertise using the CareerLeader assessment in their coaching practice.
Whether you’re a university career coach, an independent practitioner, or part of a larger organization, this course provides practical guidance on how to move beyond simply administering assessments and toward creating deeper, more strategic coaching experiences that will connect with your clients.

Participants who complete the ICF-accredited course can earn 2 hours of Core Competency credits and 1.5 hours of Resource Development credits.
The accredited version includes multiple choice questions with each chapter to test your knowledge on the information. After successfully completing the course, participants receive a certificate with verification information that can be submitted to ICF for their education requirements.
For coaches looking to keep certifications up to date while also strengthening their coaching toolkit, the course offers both professional development and practical application that you can use in your coaching practice.
Flexible Access For Organizations And Individual Coaches
Organizations and universities using CareerLeader can access the course directly through the admin portal. Through the Manage Course tab, administrators with the appropriate permissions can purchase and assign course seats to members of their coaching teams.
When assigning seats to members, be sure you have made the correct selection before clicking “Assign Seat” as seats can not be reassigned.
Coaches within an organization can then claim assigned seats and begin the course through their admin portal under the Coaching Course tab. In some cases, coaches may also choose to upgrade a standard seat to the ICF-accredited version individually for a fee.
Independent coaches can also purchase the course directly through CareerLeader and gain immediate access to the full video series. You can do so by accessing your admin portal and visiting the Coaching Course tab.
